Episode 5: Total Bubliness

(bago pa man dumating ang lahat muling isinuot ni Eigh ang kanyang disguise.)

Arw: hypocrite.

Eigh: shut up,

Arw: then why are you doing that, you have to strut your own stuff.

Eigh: I just want something new.

Arw: and why is that???

Eigh: oh, drop it, tomorrow's Saturday, drop by my place by 8 am.

Ghie: 8??? I am still sleeping by the time!

Eigh: you don't like it? then forget it.

Ghie: fine 8 then.

(inayos na ni Eigh ang kanyang gamit.)

Eigh: here's my address,

(iniabot ni Eigh ang isang card kay Arwin)

Eigh: congrats to us, we're Champion! Don't forget to bring extras.... jogging pants will be better, no maong, so flips... rubber shoes by the way.

(lumabas si Eigh sa classroom at dumeretso na pauwie.)

(kinabukasan maagang sinundo ni Shey ang mga kasamahan nya gamit ang kanyang personal van.)

Ghie: whoa, this your personal van???

Shey: haha, not now.

Ghie: whoa it has ref!

Shey: custom made.

Cha: sweet.

Shey: so I bet no one had had their breakfast, so I prepare a few.

(sa loob ng van ni Shey isang maliit na lamesa, na may nakapatong na mga pagkain.)

Arw: I took breakfast.

(mga 10 min pa at nakarating na sila sa bahay ni Eigh, kumatok sila at pinapasok sila sa loob ng isang matanda, malamang lola ni Eigh.)

MrsS: come in kids... Eigh doesn't have much visitors lately, I'm glad you came for her.

Cha: what's wrong with Eigh???

MrsS: haha, I don't think she's ready to tell anyone. So have a sit. Breakfast???

Shey: no thanks madam,

MrsS: oh such a sweet child, madame huh. So drinks???

(umalis sandali ang lola ni Eigh para tawagin sya sa kabilang bahay, may kalakihan din ang bahay ni Eigh, may ilang gamit sa sala, may shelf na puno ng albums at magazines patie iba pang periodicals. Tumayo si Emily para kumuha ng isa. May nakita syang mga pangalan sa album, kinuha nya ang album na may pangalang Eigh. Inilatag nya ito sa parihabang center table sa receiving area.)

Cha: what's that???

Emily: probaly Eigh's picture collection.

Cha: haha, let's see.

(binuksan nila ang album. Una sa album ang mga batang larawan ni Eigh simula sa baby pics hanggang sa graduation nya nung grade 6, inilipat pa nila ang mga pahina. May mga ilang larawan na kuha sa studio, may costume at talagang todo pose si Eigh.)

Ghie: is she a model or what???

MrsS: almost...

(muling bumalik ang lola ni Eigh sa receiving are at naupo sa isang sofa kaharap ng sofa na inuupuan nila Arwin.)

Arw: oh... What happened???

MrsS: she turned every offer down.

Jop: oh, why is that so???

MrsS: she keeps saying it's not her calling.

Emily: oh,

MrsS: she has enough training to be one.

Arw: she has training???

MrsS: yes dear, for three years she was trained on her parent's wishes.

Cha: and then???

MrsS: she stopped.

Shey: why???

(nakaitim na sweat pants si Eigh at pink na sports shirt pangitaas)

Eigh: glad you all came.

Eigh: haha, fine.

(lumabas na sila Eigh sa bahay,)

Eigh: oh, who's van is that???

Shey: mine. haha.

Eigh: we have service???

Shey: sort of.

Eigh: would that be alright on your part????

Shey: sure why not.

(sumakay na sila sa loob ng van, at kinausap ni Eigh ang driver para sa pupuntahan nila.)

Cha: you have a studio???

Eigh: oh not really, it's just a vacant house we have, so we turned it to be a dance studio.

Ghie: why???

Eigh: my family is musically inclined, every now and then we used the studio to bond with each other.

Arw: oh, so you must be really close to each other.

Eigh: I think so,

(pagdating nila sa studio, pinauwi muna ni Shey ang driver at sinabing balikan na lang sila.)

(binuksan ni Eigh ang ilaw ng studio, may isang maliit na walkway, at may isang pinto, binuksan nyang muli ang ilaw, at puro salamin ang kwarto. Itinuro nya ang changing rooms sa mga kasama para makapagpalit. Sina Cha, Shey at Ghie lamang ang nagpalit, naroon ang iba para panuorin ang gagawin nila. Pagkatapos magbihis dumeretso na sila sa loob ng studio.)

Eigh: so I hope everyone took their breakfast.

(sumagot silang lahat.)

Eigh: so uhm, today, I'm gonna teach you some basic on strutting and flirting. haha.. just kidding.

(nag-abot si Eigh ng mga cartolina sa mga tuturuan nya pati na rin sa mga hindi.)

Emily: we won't need it,

Eigh: you'll need that.

Jop: sure?

Eigh: ep.

(bumalik si Eigh sa harapan, nakaupo ang iba sa wooden floor)

Eigh: okay, one lesson I had is letting go of all feeling of rejections, resistance, doubt, fear and everything related.

Ghie: so what are we gonna do???

Eigh: sit properly, backs straight, breathe in and breathe out, close your eyes then think of everything which made you sad or made you feel rejected.

(sinimulan nilang gawin ang sinabi ni Eigh,)

Eigh: and then release all negative energy it brings, put the stress on the paper, let it all out.

(40 min ang tinagal ng activity at hindi nila ito namalayan.)

Eigh: so after that I want everyone to pray... I made this my own.

(sabay-sabay silang yumuko at nagdasal, bawat isa namuno sa pagdarasal, pagkatapos...)

(naglabas si Eigh ng isang malaking phonebook.)

Jop: a phonebook???

Eigh: ep.

Jop: then what???

Eigh: this phonebook contains all the contacts of every person we interact in school, now think of someone who made you feel so down and angry, and then you have to cal them.

Emily: as in talk to them???

Eigh: yup.

Cha: what if...???

Eigh: there have to be someone. Now focus and let it all out.

(inilagay ni Eigh ang phonebook sa gitna ng bilog na binuo nila mula sa pagdarasal, hinila nya ang telepono papunta sa gitna. )

Eigh: everything everyone will hear will just be among us, okay???

(huminga ng malalim ang lahat.)

Cha: what if their not here???

Eigh: uhm, call out their names place their picture on your mind and then shout all your heartbreaks! By the way after every speech would be a big hug, okay?

All: okay.

(muling huminga si Cha.)

Cha: MOM! I FELT SO SAD WHEN YOU LEFT US! I ENVY MY FRIENDS FOR THEY HAVE THEIR MOMS WHO WOULD GO TO MEETINGS! DARN!

(lumuha na si Cha, nakayuko ang iba para magbigay galang.)

Cha: DARN IT MOM! I WISH YOU NEVER LEFT! DARN IT MOM, yet i still LOVE YOU MOM!

(umiyak si Cha, iyak sya ng iyak, lalapitan na sana sya ni Ghie nang pinigilan muna sya ni Eigh.)

Eigh: later...

(nang medyo humina na ang pagiyak ni Cha, nilapitan nah nila ito at niyakap nang mahigpit.)

Shey: MOM, DAD!!! I FELT SO SAD WHEN YOU GOT SEPARATED, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO DURING THOSE TIMES! I DON'T HAVE ANYONE TO CALL MY FRIEND! AND THEN I THOUGH YOU TWO WILL ALWAYS BE THERE! I HATE YOU TWO! BUT YOU KNOW KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU GUYS!

(tulad ni Cha umiyakdin si Shey ng sobra. At niyakap rin nila.)

Emily: MOM.... YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT! ARE WE NOT ENOUGH????

(lumuha si Emily.)

Emily: MOM... MOM...

(tsaka sya tuluyang umiyak at niyakap din nila ito. Karamihan sa kanila'y tungkol sa pamilya ang problema, tulad ni Jop na nakukulangan sa pagmamahal ng kanyang mga magulang, ngunit sila Arwin at Ghie, medyo mababaw naman ang doubt. Lumaabs si eigh at pagbalik nya may mga dala syang tsokolate.)

Eigh: here take this, and you have to eat that all, okay???

(kinain nilang lahat ang chocolate na ibinigay ni Eigh.)

Eigh: crying with proper reason is a good health exercise, it removes toxic fluids inside our body, and it will help you feel lighter. So now everyone up.. up... let's start.

(tumayo ang Paradox, pinamunuan ni Eigh ang stretching, atsaka nagpatugtog ng magandang musika na mapapasayaw kahit sinong makarinig.)

Eigh: Now, dance!

(pinanuod ni Eigh ang lahat na sumayaw, maayos ang steps magaganda ang coordination, ngunit kulang ang emosyon.)

Eigh: okay stop.

(hininto ni Eigh ang musika ilang segundo bago ito matapos.)

(lumabas sila at pumunta sa maliit na parang cafeteria ng studio.)

Eigh: this was supposed to be the kitchen of the house.

(Inihandan ni eigh ang mga pagkain sa lamesa.)

Eigh: come on, fill yourselves. But girls, a cup will do.

Ghie: a cup!? this is not getting fair!

Eigh: what's not fair???

Ghie: a cup!?

Eigh: come on... eat now.

(matapos ang isang oras na lunch break bumalik na sila sa studio para muling makapagtrain. Sinayaw nilang muli ang Hot Hot at ivinideo ito ni Emily, para icompare sa nauna. Pagkatapos ng tarining pinanuod nila ang dalawang vid at ikinumpara.)

Arw: haha! Now I feel it!

(tumayo si Eigh)

Eigh: I think my job's done, congrats to you guys!

(lalabas na sana si Eigh para makapagpalit.)

Emily: Eigh...

(lumingon si Eigh kay Emily.)

Emily: we need you in the group,

Eigh: oh sure, I can be of help.

Emily: no... we want you in Paradox.

Eigh: haha, silly, the group's diversity is complete, you have all you need.

Emily: we want you in the group...

(lumingon si Eigh kay Arwin na may maluha-luhang mga mata)

(nilapitan ni Arwin si eigh at hinawakan sa braso.)

(bumitaw si Arwin kay Eigh.)

Arw: thank you Eigh!
