Episode 16: The Promenade 2

(Umupo ang grupo sa isang table malapit sa stage.)

Eigh: thanks.

(naupo si Eigh sa nakareserve na upuan para sa kanya, muli rin namang lumapit ang photographer.)

PhotG: thank you Ajune.

Arw: you know us???

PhotoG: who does not?

Arw: no problem.

(umalis ang photographer, at lumapit si Mrs Mendoza kay Shey para ibigay ang number nya sa gagawing Prom Queen competition.)

MrsMen: Ms. Noble...

Shey: yes ma'am?

MrsMen: you should wear this...

Shey: oh gosh, thanks.

MrsMen: no problem, I am expecting something from you.

(umalis si Mrs. Mendoza sa table ng grupo at umikot para maghanap ulit nang mapagbibigyan ng number.)

Shey: haha!

Ajune: Shey!! haha, you should win!

Eigh: remember projections and the attitude!

Shey: haha, I will!

Ghie: Shey do not forget our flag!

Shey: haha, I will not let you down!

Cha: haha, you should!

(nagpasukan na ang iba pang mga estudyante, ang grupo ni Dez ay naupo sa table katabi ng kina Arwin.)

Dez: hi!

Eigh: hi Dez!

Dez: I heard your entrance,

Shey: haha,

Dez: so how does it feel???

Ghie: for what???

Dez: uhm, being so famous???

Cha: haha, it will not change a thing from us! Right guys?

Ajune: yeah yeah! haha.

Cha: you look great tonight Dez!

Dez: thank you, well I'm not half as good as you.

Cha: shut up!

Dez: haha, may I have a shot?

Arw: sure.

(pinicturan sila ni Dez.)

(Pagkatapos ng dinner sinimulan na ang mahabang program.)

MrsP: so tonight we have a very special guest. So you may have seen him before, and you may be familiar to him. So from Ateneo de Manila Highschool, may I welcome in Mr. Wyatt Dustine Villaflor.

(bumukas ang pinto at pumasok si Wyatt, isang makisig na puting attire ang kanyang suot, naglalakad na sya sa red carpet bago pa sya mapansin ni Eigh.)

Eigh: Wyatt???

Ghie: sure he looks good huh,

Shey: yeah, I wish I can date him.

Cha: haha, fantasies.

(nagtawanan sila. Tumingin si Wyatt sa table nila at ngumiti.)

Shey: oh my gosh is he looking at me???

(nakatulala si Shey kay Wyatt at hindi nya napapansin ang katabi nyang si Eigh. Naglakad muli si Wyatt paakyat sa platform.)

MrsP: by the way the Villaflor family has a great investment for the improvement of our university.

(pinalakpakan si Wyatt ng mga estudyante. Kumaway muna ito bago naupo.)

Ghie: you know that guy???

Eigh: oh, haven't I told you about him???

Ghie: I hate you Eigh.

Cha: where did you meet him???

Eigh: he was there during the visit of the Big Four.

Shey: he was there???

Eigh: yeah, but he looks a bit different.

Shey: you should have told us,

Eigh: I thought his type was not yours so I did not bother telling you.

(pagkatapos ng mga speech nagsimula na ang Prom King and Queen competition, tumayo si Shey at umalis.)

Cha: you can do it!

Ghie: go Shey.

Eigh: I'll hate you if you won't win!

Arw: goodluck Shey.

Jop: goddluck.

Emily: aw Shey, you should win!

Shey: thanks...

(isa-isa nang rumampa ang mga candidates, at si Shey ang pinakastand-out dahil sya ang pinakamatangkad. Maya-maya pa inanounce na ang mga nanalo.)

MrsP: and our prom king is....

(binuksan ni Mrs Palao ang envelope.)

MrsP: haha, as expected, our Prom King for this year is the provocative Chikko Ramos.

(lumapit si Chikko kay ma'am Palao at sa mga magsusuot sa kanya ng ribbon,)

MrsP: the king is known... but he's not complete without his queen.

(sabi ni Mrs Palao after picturan ang mga king, binasa ni Ma'am Palao ang unang dalawang queen.)

MrsP: and our 1st princess.... haha, Ms. Victoria Isabel Labio.

(after isuot kay Victoria ang korona, binuksan na ni Ma'am Palao ang envelope na naglalaman ng Prom Queen.)

MrsP: and our Prom Queen... is the seductive Shey Noble...

(naluha sa tuwa si Shey habang nagchecheer ang mga kabigan nya sa iba't ibang table. Lumapit sya kay Ma'am Palao at si Wyatt ang nagsuot sa kanya ng tiara.)

Shey: thanks.

Wyatt: will you do me a favor?

Shey: sure.

Wyatt: tell your friend that I would like to have a dance with her.

Shey: Eigh?

Wyatt: yes.

Shey: no problem.

(nagsayaw ang Prom King and Queen after ng picture taking sa Queen at princesses.)

Chikko: It's a great pleasure Shey.

Shey: don't mention.

Chikko: I am really grateful that I have the dance of every boy's dream...

Shey: haha, shut up. Well I am also dancing with one of the school's hottest guy.

Chikko: you think so???

Shey: haha, yeah, why not??? haha.

Shey: not yet!!!

Ghie: we envy you!

Shey: well you should've come earlier. Eigh.

Eigh: yep?

Shey: Wyatt, is that the name? wants a dance with you.

Eigh: with me???

Wyatt: yes with you...

(Napatingin si Eigh kay Wyatt na nasa likuran nya, hindi naman naiwasan kiligin ng mga kasama nya.)

Eigh: haha, you're funny.

(kinuha ni Wyatt ang kamay ni Eigh.)

Eigh: see you guys...

(umalis na ang dalawa.)

Shey: so, I also have to go.

(naiwan ang lima sa table.)

Ghie: okay, we have no date.

(lumapit naman si Jonathan kay Emily.)

Emily: okay???

Jonath: please??

Ghie: emily, come on.

Emily: ohhh...

(tumayo si Emily at sumama kay Jonathan.)

Arw: so that leave us as partners.

(lumapit naman sina Adrian sa table nila Ghie.)

Adr: come on, tell her.

(napatingin sila kina Adrian.)

Adr: Herson's too shy to ask Ghie for a dance.

(tumawa at kinilig si Ghie, tumayo ito at lumapit. Kunyari mataray.)

Ghie: do you want a dance or not??

(tumingin sa kanya si Herson at hinila ni Ghie ang kamay nito para sumayaw.)

Cha: so the three of us. How cute, isn't it?

Arw: haha. Come on Cha let's dance.

(tumayo silang dalawa at sumayaw. Naiwan na si Jop sa table. Umupo si Denise sa upuan katabi nang kay Jhop.)

Den: don't have a dance??

Jop: yeah,

Den: same.

(natural kay Jop ang pagiging mahiyain at tahimik, tumayo si Denise at hinawakan ang kamay ni Jop.)

Jop: why???

Den: come on let's dance.

(tumayo sila at nagsayaw sa gitna.)

Episode 15: The Promenade

(Kung ika'y isang babae at ikaw ay nasa 3rd at 4th year highschool, puwes ang Junior-Senior Promenadeang pinakaabangan mong gabi. Kahit Prom pa mamayang gabi hindi pa rin nawalan nang klase.)

...

(Medyo late na nang pumasok si Eigh sa school, at lahat ng tao nakatingin sa kanya habang naglalakad, hinanap nya ang pila ng kanyang section ngunit wala syang makita. Pinagtawanan sya ng mga taga ibang section at sinabing walang pumasok sa section ni Eigh, ngunit may nakita syang pitong kaklase, lumapit sya rito at umakyat na sila sa room. Naghintay sila ngunit walang dumating na estudyante at guro, kaya umuwi rin sila kaagad. Pagdating ni Eigh sa bahay, umidlip muna sya bago sya tinawag para maglunch. umidlip muli si Eigh for 1 hour bago gumising at maligo para dumeretso sa parlor, ngunit nasobrahan ang pagtulog ni Eigh kaya dinala na nya ang gown nya sa parlor ng kaibigan ng mommy nya. Tinawagan nya si Shey at nagusap silang dalawa nasa parlor na rin si Shey para magpaayos, sunod nyang tinawagan ang iba pang myembro ng paradox at si Emily. Hindi na nya tinawagan sina Jop at Arwin.)

Stylist:okay dear, how do you want your make-up?

Eigh: the lightest as possible, and uhm hypoallergenic materials please.

Stylist: everything here is hypoallergenic dear. Your first time?

Eigh: not actually. haha.

Stylist: haha, is that all you want???

Eigh: a bit of Marilyn Monroe's, except for the hair, I want my hair to be clean straight.

Stylist: nice choice darling,

(dun naman kay Cha..)

Stylist: how do you like your hair dear???

Cha: I want to have a full bangs.

Stylist: and then???

Cha: I want it to be unique.

(nakita ni Cha na nakatingin sa kanya ang stylist mula sa likuran.)

Stylist: oh I just noticed, are you Cha of Paradox??

Cha:haha, yeah.

Stylist: oh my, it's a pleasure of my parlor... I'll give a discount.

Ghie: yes.

(iniabot ng stylist ang isang album kay Ghie, namili si Ghie nang hairstyle mula rito.)

Ghie: yes, I want this one.

(tiningnan ng stylist ang napili ni Ghie.)

Stylist: feathery? only a few chooses that.

Ghie: I think it'll fit my gown.

Stylist: how about your make-up???

Ghie: anything that'll suit the hair and a black and red gown.

Stylist: what's the style??

Ghie: it's a body fit backless gown.

Stylist: oh are you sure about the hair???

Ghie: haha, no.

Stylist: haha, okay, so what I'm gonna do is brush your hair up, and put in some accessories on it.

Ghie: I want a bangs.

Stylist: sure dear.

(kay Shey, sa bahay nya sya nagpaayos.)

Stylist: what's your goal dear???

Shey: I want the crown tonight.

Stylist: ready to dare???

Shey: I am ready to dare,

Stylist: well prepare.

Anjo: I wonder what changes will make you better, Shey.

(naroon pala si Anjo sa kanilang likuran, kinuha ni Shey ang brush at ibinato ito kay Anjo.)

Shey: shut up Anjo!

Anjo: haha, I'll wait for you Shreyk!

Shey: aaah! get out!

(lumabas na si Anjo ng kwarto.)

(dumating naman si Emily sa parehong parlor nang kay Eigh.)

Emily: Eigh???

Eigh: haha, hi Emily!

(umupo si Emily sa tabi ni Eigh.)

Eigh: you brought your gown???

Emily: haha yeah,

(merong isang magpamilya na pumasok sa salon, may mga anak na lalaki ang babae.)

Emily: just had my nail polished.

Eigh: haha I see.

(tumingin si Eigh sa kanyang stylist.)

Eigh: by the way I want a black nail polish.

Stylist: sure.

Emily: black???

Eigh: haha, yeah?

(napatingin kay Emily at Eigh ang mga lalaki sa loob ng salon.)

Boy1: is that Eigh and Emily of Ajune?

Boy2: I'm not sure.

(lumapit ang lalaki kina Emily at Eigh, napatingin ang dalawan sa lalaki. nanlaki ang mata ng lalaki at bumalik sa kapatid nya, nagkatinginan sina Emily at Eigh atsaka nagtawanan.)

Boy2: it is theeeeem!

Boy1: do I look alright???

(palapit na ang lalaki kina Eigh nang biglang tumayo si Eigh at tapos na ito.)

Eigh: uhm, the dressing room???

Stylist: this way dear,

(Nagbihis si Eigh sa loob ng dressing room.)

Stylist: your daughter looks familiar.

MrsE: oh you probably saw her on youtube.

Stylist: oh, yeah, paradox right?

MrsE: yes.

(tumayo na rin si Emily at nagpunta sa dressing room.)

Eigh: Emily??

Emily: yeah???

Eigh: I need a hand.

Emily: just a bit, I also need a hand.

(nagtawanan silang dalawa, lumabas si Eigh ng dressing room. at kumatok kay Emily.)

Eigh: zip my back,

(itinaas ni Emily ang zipper sa likod ni Eigh.)

Emily: Pin my accessory, haha, make it not so obvious.

Eigh: sure.

(naglakad sina Eigh at Emily palabas ng mall nang nakagown, nagkaroon muna nang ilang picture taking habang naglalakad.)

Eigh: this is awkward.

(habang pinipicturan ni Emily si Eigh may ilan ding nakikisabay sa pagkuha ng picture. Ganoon din ang nagyrai kapag si Emily ang pinipicturan ni Eigh.)

(Matapos magbihis ni Shey agad syang lumabas ng silid, inaabangan sya ni Anjo sa baba sa may mahabang sofa sa gilid ng hagdan.)

AuntB: Shey's done,

(tuwang-tuwang sabi ni Bella kay Marina,)

MrsM: I can't wait to see my granddaughter.

UncS: Anjo, be ready to be fascinated.

Anjo: be ready to be scared dad! haha.

(tiningnan sya ng masama ni Bella at ni Marina, maya-maya pa bumaba na ang stylist ni Shey at natayo sa gilid nag hagdan.)

Stylist: presenting, Lady Shey Noble.

(dahan-dahang bumaba si Shey sa hagdan, may katext si Anjo kaya't hindi nya namalayan, binatukan sya ng kanyang ama at napasuklyap sya kay Shey ngunit bumalik muli sa pagtetext ng marealize nya ang kanyang nakita binalikan nya ito muli nang tingin. Napalunok ng laway si Anjo.)

AuntB: a picture with us darling???

Shey: sure.

(nagpapicture si Shey kasama si Bella, Simon at Marina.)

AuntB: Anjo, have a picture with your fiance.

(tulala pa rin si Anjo.)

Auntb: Anjo???

Anjo: oh yes yes...

(nagpapicture ang dalawa bago tuluyang ihatid si Shey sa Manila Hotel.)

(nakisabay sina Jop, Arwin, Cha, at Ghie kina Eigh. Medyo late na sila nang dumating, pero hindi pa naman nagsstart, nakatayo na si Shey sa may entrance at hinihintay sila.)

Shey: I already signed in.

Ghie: where are we gonna sign in???

Shey: foloow me...

(pinagtitinginan sila ng mga estudyante habang naglalakad, merong ilan na nagpapapicture pa kasama sila, maski ang ilang guest ng hotel ay nakikipicture taking din. Pagkatapos magsing-in pumasok na sila sa gaganapan ng prom nila, nakapatay ang ilaw ng pumasok sila. at may lumapit na isang lalaki.)

Photog: good evening, I'm assigned for the documentary of you prom, and I was told about your entrance, so if you may, one by one enter the hall and follow the spotlight.)

Ghie: seriously???

Cha: haha.

Photog: it'll make next year's prom a bit exciting.

Shey: haha, sure.

(unang pumasok si ang staff ng Ajune Ent. Si Arwin, Jop at Emily, naglakad sila sa spot light at red carpet habang may mga photographer sa gilid gilid. Sumunod na si Cha, na nagningning sa kanyang grey na cocktail gown at kanyang silver purse. Episode 14: Cover Page

(matapos ang ilang linggo mula nang pagbabalik nila sa klase nakatnggap si Arwin nang isang email mula sa staff nang isang local teen magazine, tinatanong nito kung maari raw bang magkaroon ng interview between them at sa staff ng Paradox, nagulat si Arwin at agad syang nagpatawag nang meeting papunta sa bahay nila Ghie,.)

(Nakaupo silang lahat sa sala nila Ghie, wala ang mommy ni Ghie ngayon kaya solo nila ang bahay.)

Arw: so what do you think???

Shey: haha, I can't say no.

Eigh: but wait, are you sure that the person who emailed you is a registered staff of Candy Mag?

Arw: yes, I checked it on their website.

Eigh: but what if he just uses the name?

Arw: no I have checked it on their profile, the email address ang everything.

Eigh: oh okay,

Cha: so when did they schedule the interview?

Arw: a few days from now,

Cha: oooh, we just had our prefinals, I think we can do it.

Arw: so I'm gonna contact the staff, and I'm gonnasay yes?

Ghie: precisely!

Arw: okay,.

(5am, gamit ang sasakyan nila Shey, umalis ang grupo para pumunta sa la Mesa Eco Park kung saan nila gaganapin ang interview. Nagpagawa sila nang isang personalized shirt na may pangalan nang kanilang grupo, sinalubong sila ng staff ng magazibne may mga make-up artists at photographers, meron din sila inihandang mga snacks para sa grupo. Inuna nilang interviewhin ang CEO na si Arwin, at ang dalawang support staff na sina Emily at Jop. Unang itinanong sa kanila kung paano nabuo ang grupo.)

Staff: So how was Paradox became Paradox?

Arw: It all started with a multimedia school project, so I was appointed to be the representative for the third year level, since I am a junior high student. At first I thought I'll be messing the school project up, for no one liked to auditioned and no one was that interested to sign theirselves up. So that was my problem, but since Ghie wanted to help me I automatically signed her in the group since she is one of the school's premiere chorale member. And then she found out that Cha knows how to rap, so I signed her in, again, autonatically. Shey then was transferee from Cebu, so we watched her self documentary and found out that she knows how to sing and dance, so after she came in, I signed her in. So everything's complete singer, rapper, dancer... but after the first teaser there was something yet missing, the group lack projection. So it was then that we knew that Eigh had formal lessons on things like projection, so we had her teached the group some basic, and after that we have decided to include her in the Group.

Staff: so why Paradox?

Arw: by definition, any person, thing, or situation exhibiting an apparently contradictory nature. We have chosen Paradox for these girls will exhibit something beyond rules and regulations.

(ngayon lang naisip ni Arwin ang dahilan.)

Staff: so about the concept of the MV Hot Hot, what did you consider?

Arw: maybe I'll leave that question to our field manager, Emily Martin.

Emily: it was Arwin who had the idea of the setting and of the theme. So I had to prepare different sets of production designs, on the first part of the MV as you ay notice, there was a pond, and some fogs and bushes. It was all natural and we found the place around Cha's home, so we stayed over at their house and we all woke up by 2am to start the preparation. There were vacant rooms on Shey's house so we transformed it to be the studio where we will shoot our complete choreography and different solo parts, our class gave us a hand. And then Eigh's family have this studio where they bond during weekends, we also used some rooms in their studio so that we could save time and energy.

Staff: so Hot Hot is an original composition of whom???

Arw: it was an original composition of Kim Eli, a friend of Shey's godfather. So all credits for the song belongs to him.

Staff: os so he made this song just for paradox?

Jop: no, he had the song sometime already ad he was just waiting for a proper performer. He has high standards as he always say. But he really liked Shey to perform all of his compositions but Shey had to turn it down because before the debut of Paradox, Shey had a little self-confidence. So Eli in turn gave us the simplest song he have on his collection, "I underestimated the capacity." That's what he told me when we last talked.

Staff: you have a collaboration with Kim Eli? So Does this mean that the fans of Paradox iut there should wait for another video?

Jop: Yes, we are working on now with the arrangement of another original composition and two revival songs. All prepared by Kim Eli and Ben Reyes, Shey's godfather.

Staff: is this sometime around this month?

Jop: I believe that the practices will be held around this month, but we still have our final examination. So we have to stay our focus on it Specially two of our staffs are consistent honor students.

Staff: oh that is good. So how did you adapt to the gradual change on your social status?

Arw: well our group, at first, were really shocked, specially that we used to be someone from the unknown population of our school. But sometime after the released of the video, everyone in school seems to know us. Even people outside. So we have to work with our sanity. haha.

Satff: indeed, fame really brings in insanity.

(di rin nagtagal ang interview. Sumunod naman ang mga myembro ng Paradox.)

Staff: Cha, as the leader how do you manage your group???

Cha: oh, I am a leader by title. Since Arwin considered me being a CAT officer. I don't really have much to manage with the group, all of us know proper decorums and we don't really get into fights.

Staff: You're group is now enlisted on showbusiness, would you take the challenge to be a real leader this time??

Cha: that will be very exciting, our group really loves challenges.

Staff: Ghie, as the lead vocal how do you manage your vocal power so as not to overpower the rest?

Ghie: haha, at first during practices there were incidents when I tend to overpower the rest, but as the group moved on, you will eventually learn their styles and techniques and all I have to do is to put some more to it.

Staff: thank you Ghie. And Shey, you are a very good dancer, so what are the things you consider on preparing a choreography?

Shey: well thank you for the compliment. Well I have to consider their dancing experiences but since none of them had ever danced before I really have to go down a few marks. haha, that's what they told me, but I am still an amateur myself, it's just that I had more experience than them.

Staff: well the choreography seemed to be a very big hit for children and teenagers.

Shey: well thanks to the beat of the songs, when you hear the song there are no chances that you can escape the beat.

Staff: indeed, I had an experience. So Eigh, I have heard about you projections,

Eigh: I knew you would say that,

Staff: so is it true that you had modeling class???

Eigh: yes it's true, my parents enrolled me in one.

Staff: but I haven't seen you on any ads before.

Eigh: oh yes, well frankly I have to turn down every offer that was given to me since it is really not my calling.

Staff: so lovelife, how does Paradox deal with their lovelife?

Eigh: haha. Lovelife? We don't have any, there's so much to think about.

Staff: like???

Cha: school requirements, us being Paradox.

Staff: oh, really that's quite tough huh. But I heard Shey is already obliged to marry someone. Is that true Shey?

Shey: I'd lie if I say no.

Staff: so it's true?

Shey: yes.

Staff: what's it like?

Shey: I really am not sure, But I am sure that I won't worry someone I don't know.

Staff: oh so you don't know the guy??

Shey: yes, but his parents are close family friends.

(hindi rin nagtagal natapos na ang interview at nagkaroon naman sila ng mga pictorial sa lood lang din ng park. Binigyan sila ng konting challenge ng Staff, at tinour sila sa loob ng park, lahat ay free. gabi na nang makauwi sila sa kanilang mga bahay.)

Episode 13: Back to School

(Nag-enjoy ang lahat after ng Christmas Break nila, ngayon na lang sila ulit magkikita-kita sa school.)

Arw: morning Dez!

Dez: morning Arwin!

(may malaking ngiti sa mukha ni Dez)

Arw: having a great start???

Dez: yeah...

Arw: have you seen the others???

Dez: oh, I have seen the officers passed by.

Arw: oh, Cha, Emily, and Jop?

Dez: yes... yes...

(kinuha ni Dez ang isang pink notebook mula sa kanyang bag)

Dez: Arwin...

(iniaabot ni Dez kay Arwin ang notebook at isang pink-feathery pen)

Arwin: what's that???

Dez: just take it first,

(kinuha ni Arwin ang notebook at pen. Binuksan ni Arwin ang notebook)

Arw: haha, Dez...

(natuwa si Arwin nang makakita ng mga autograph mula kay Emily, Cha at Jop, sa ibabaw ng mga larawan nila na may profile pa.)

Arw: what is this???

Dez: I'm your number 1 fan!!!

Arw: haha, Dez!

Dez: please sign... sign...

Arw: haha, Dez,

(pumirma si Arwin.)

Arw: haha.

(lalong natawa si Arwin nang nagsimulang kumanta si Dez.)

Pagbalik ni Shey nagulat sya sa nangyari sa mga halaman nya, nakita nya si Anjo na nakaupo sa may garden set di malayo mula sa kanya, nilapitan nya ito,.)

(ilang buwan na rin ng huling asilayan ang mga bus ng Big 4 sa loob ng univeristy na pinapasukan nila Arwin, ngayon ay ang pinakahihintay na araw ng Paradox at nang kanilang mga kaklase ang Christmas Party Day. bandang 7:30 ng umaga nagaayos na ang section nila Arwin nang mga gagamitin sa party mamaya, ang mga pagkain ay nakatabi sa gilid habang inaayos ang mga lamesa at nilalagyan ito ng mga decorations, isa-isa nang nagdadatingan ang mga kaklase nila Arwin, maya-maya pa'y sisimulan na ng mga emcee ang party, ngunit wala pa ang isang myembro ng Paradox na si Eigh.)

Ghie: where the hell is that girl???

Cha: Arwin, what's the official time for the presentation of music videos???

Arw: 1 pm...

Cha: oh.

Arw: but we will be presenting the videos on class first.

Emily: okay, so are you gusy complete??? You should be complete by the time these fans come rushing towards you!

(sa lobby naglakad si Eigh suot ang isang dilaw na dress na above the knee, at isang pares ng puting Chuck taylor na low-cut ang nakabalot sa paas nya, bit-bit nya sa kamay nya ang regalong ibibigay nya sa nabunot nya, habang naglalakad tinanggal ni Eigh ang shades nya, nakatingin karamihan ang mga tao sa kanya, naninibago kung sino ba ang stranger na ito sa kanilang campus. Pagdating sa room, pagkabukas ni eigh ng pinto.)

Ern: Arwin who's the other girl???

(pangungulit ni Ernan at ng iba pa nilang kaklase kay Arwin kung sino ba daw ba yung isang myembro na never pa nilang nakita.)

(nagulat ang lahat pero natuwa rin sa nakita nilang pagbabago kay Eigh. Hindi nagtagal sinimulan na ang mga program, pati ang pinakaabangan na exchange-gift. 12pm batapos magparty ang section nila Eigh, medyo matagal bago sila natapos pero ayos lang nag-enjoy naman sila. bandang 12;15 isa-isang nagdatingan ang mga bus ng Big 4, magkakaroon muli ng Convention tungkol sa mga curriculum na pinaiiral sa loob ng isang university. So New Gym nila gaganapin ang convention, habang sa Auditorium naman sa harap ng New Gym pipiliin ang mananalo sa contest ng mga Music Video na ipapalabas rin sa Convention. Marami-raming estudyante ang naka-upo na sa mga upuan sa Auditorium, dumating rito ang Paradox at uupo na sana sa tabi nang iba nang may nakareserve pala na mga seat sa mga staff at artista ng bawat Music Video. Random ang pagpplay ng mga Music Video, may mga judge na nakaupo sa harapan, pinatay ang mga ilaw at surround and sound system sa loob ng kwarto. Pinlay na ang video ng Paradox ang nag-iisang may original composition, heavy ang beat, sakto sa panlasa ng mga kabataan, nakakaakit ang tema ng video lalo na ang choreography nang kanta. Sandali lang ang pagpapalabas sa mga Music Video ngunit muli nila itong inulit, nang mtapos ulit ang bawat music videos ginanap na ang pagpupulong ng mga judges. Maya-maya pa pumanhik na ang Chairman ng board, at inananounce na ang mga winner, naiwan ang video ng 4th year at ng 3rd year, mahigpit ang laban ngunit sa huli nanalo naman ang grupo nila Arwin, dinala kaagad sa baba ang video, pinalabas ito bago magsimula ang pagpupulong, naunang bumaba si Eigh naiwan ang iba sa taas. Nakita ni Eigh si Wyatt na nakaupo sa isang plantbox sa harap ng Old Gym kaya't nilapitan nya ito.)

Eigh: hi,

(tumingin si Wyatt sa kanya.)

Wyatt: hi?

Eigh: haha, silly, it's me,

Wyatt: do I know you???

(napatayo si Wyatt at lumapit kay Eigh.)

(Lunes ng umaga ipinatawag si Arwin at ang speaker ng grupo sa loob ng highschool office.)

(yumuko silang dalawa nang makita ang principal at ang kanilang dating biology teacher na si Mrs. Marquez. Umupo sina Eigh at Arwin sa sofa sa harap ng principal.)

MsA: Mr. Abay I received a boycott complain about how you build the group,

Arw: boycott complain???

MsA: yes,

Arw: there was no boycott that happened, everything was fair.

MsA: then how would you explain that all the members of your group are from your section???

Arw: is that all ma'am? that's the boycott???

MsA: yes, you should at least have members from other sections, there are 7 sections on your batch.

(Sabado 7:30 am. 15 na studyante ng III-Einstein kasama ang staff ng Paradox ang nagpunta sa bahay ni Shey para masimulan ang pag-aayos. Kanya-kanya silang hanapan ng design at konsepto, kanya-kanya ang bigayan ng suggestions bandang alasonse lumabas ang karamihan naiwan lang ang paradox sa loob, namili kasi ang iba ng kulang na kagamitan ang iba naman hanggang dun lang ang oras na maitutulong. (nagbulungan na sila Ghie at Cha dahil talaga namang gwapo at maganda ang katawan ni Anjo, si Eigh naman ay walang interes sa mga ganito kaya't patuloy nyang pinagaaralan ang design. Hindi pinapansin ni Anjo si Shey kaya't lumapit sya sa tatlong nakaupo pa sa sahig.)

Anjo: hi girls,

Ghie: hi.

(nangati at napabahing si Eigh.)

Eigh: gosh I hate nicotine.

(napatingin si Eigh sa taas at nakita si Anjo na nakaboxer hawak ang juice sa isang kamay at ang umuusok na sigarilyo sa kabila.)

Eigh: oh my, who are you??? step out of the room, please.

Anjo: haha. oh my who are you??

(panggagaya at pangiinsulta ni Anjo kay Eigh)

Anjo: I'm Anjo, Shey's fiancee, and who the hell you are ms weirdo???

(bago lumabas kinindatan ni Anjo sina Ghie at Cha na nagpakilig naman sa dalawa, pagkalabas ni Anjo,)

(nangiinsultong ngumiti si Shey atsaka nya isinara ang pinto.)

Ghie: who is he???

(hinawakan ni Ghie ang kamay ni Ghie na tila sobrang interesado sa narinig.)

Eigh: yeah Shey, that's the spirit, if you want to have a completely normal child do not ever nail yoursel with that guy,

Episode 7: Remake

(Biyernes ng hapon pagkauwian dumeretso sila kina Cha, matapos ayusin ang mga gamit sa isang lugar, umikot muna sila sa buong lugar para makahanap ng perfect spot para sa remake ng video, nakakita sila ng isang maliit na pond sa may puso ng lugar nila Cha, ito na lang kasi ang natitirang bakas ng magandang probinsya sa lugar nila.)

(Alas dos ng umaga bumangon na silang lahat naligo at naghanda, kanya-kanya silang suot ng costume at make-up pati ang pag-aayos ng buhok, pero nagtutulungan naman sila kahit papano. Nang matapos na ang paghahanda, nagpasama sila sa driver ni Shey papunta sa lugar ng first scene. May isang maliit na puno sa tabi ng pond na nakita nila, may mga running vines na gumagapang rito, makapal ito sapat para itago ang paradox sa likod ng puno. Sinimulan na ang first scene, makapal ang fog sa paligid alas quatro na kasi ng umaga, maganda para iniisip na konsepto ni Arwin, mula sa likod isa-isang maglalakad ang mga myembro ng Paradox papunta sa may harap ng pond na nababalutan ng mas makapal na fog, magiging napakamystical at may pagkaterrifying ang naiisip ni Arwin ng introduction ng MV. Kumuha sila ng ilang take nang entrance, gayun din ang ilang scene na gagawin sa parehong lugar, sumusilip na ang araw nang matapos sila, pagod silang lahat at gutom na gutom, maya-maya uuwi na sila para makapagpahinga ta makagawa ng mga ssignments at projects. )

Arw: thank you Paradox, you did a good job,

Eigh: what will we do next week???

Arw: we're gonna fix the first studio at Shey's house, then you will have your full choreography at that place, and then after that, we're going to change the design again so that we can take solo parts for each of you, so that it will look as if we shoot at different places.

Pagkatapos nilang tumulong sa pagliligpit pagkatapos kumain, nagpahinga sila para makauwi na, nagbigay muna si Arwin nang ilang instructions bago sila tuluyang maghiwa-hiwalay.)

(sa bahay ni Shey. Pagkauwi nya, dumeretso sya sa sala para makaupo sa sofa.)

MrsM: hi dear,

(nagulat si Shey at napatayo,)

Shey: grandma!

(agad lumapit si Shey at nagmano sa lola nya.)

MrsM: surprised dear???

Shey: I am... what are you doing here???

MrsM: haha, you better take your rest before we have a chat, ok???

Shey: sure ma, but promise me there's no problem,

MrsM: no... no... no problem!

(tanong ni Shey habang kumukuha ng isang fries mula sa tray)

MrsM: you'll meet them when they finally arrive,

(umakyat si Shey sa kwarto nya, ngunit nakita nya ang mga maids sa bahay na inaayos ang dalawang kwartong nakalock sa bahay, lumapit si Shey sa yaya nya.)

Shey: who gave you the key???

Heidi: Madame Marina gave us the key and told us to fix the rooms,

Shey: oh, thanks.

(naglakad si Shey papunta sa kwarto na para kunin ang kanyang cellphone atsaka sya naglakad pabalik, sa paglalakad nya pabalik ang mga maids naman ay may ipinapasok na mga maleta sa dalawang kwarto. Nagmadali si Shey pababa suot ang kanyang maikling short at pink na blouse habang nagtetext, dumeretso sya sa dining room, nakaupo na ang mga bisita sa lamesa. Napatingin si Shey at agad na lumapit sa kanyang lola na nakatayo sa may head ng dining table,)

MrsS: so this is Shey,

(yumuko si Shey para magbigay galang,)

MrsS: Shey, this is your aunt Bella and uncle Simon, they are your parents' bestfriends.

(lumapit si Shey at nakipagkamay sa dalawang bisita)

AuntB: oh dear you've growna lot,

UncS: sure is beautiful as her mother,

Shey: oh thank you,

MrsS: so Shey, have your seat so we may start eating.

(Naupo si Shey at pinamunuan nya ang pagdarasal, tapos ay nagsimula na silang kumain.)

Shey: I saw the maids fixing the two bedrooms,

MrsS: oh you sae them huh??

Shey: yup, and I'm wondering who would stay at the other one???

AuntB: oh dear, that would be our son, Anjo...

UncS: that boy, is such a pain in the neck...

AuntB: oh Simon, have a faith in your son...

MrsS: oh let us not talk about bad things infront of God's banquet,

(pagkadismaya ni Shey)

AuntB: oh Anjo,

(lumapit si Bella sa lalaki at niyakap. Lumapit naman si Simon kay Shey.)

AuntB: so you've met your fiance, Anjo.

(inilayo ng lalaki ang kanyang ina, nanlaki rin naman ang mata ni Shey.)

Shey: I am sorry??? What did you just say???

AuntB: oh dear, you did not know???

Shey: I am sorry??? may you please repeat your previous statement???

MrsS: dear,

Shey: what are they talking about ma???

MrsS: the dining table's waiting.

Shey: but ma???

MrsS: we'll talk about it while eating,

Shey: so what is this all about ma???

(tahimik ang lahat sa lamesa, bukod kay Anjo na patuloy sa pagkain.)

Anjo: you are my finace and I am your fiancee, can't you get it???

MrsS: long ago before the two of you were born, your parents had a covenant that their child will be married.

Shey: huh? I didn't know this.

Anjo: so now you know,

UncS: Anjo, shut up,

(narinig ni Shey ang sinabi ni Anjo kaya kumuha sya ng isang basong juice at bumalik sa dinig area, tumayo sya sa likod ni Anjo,.)

(ibinuhos ni Shey ang juice sa ulo ni Anjo nagulat ni Anjo at napatayo natumba ang upuang inuupuan nya dahil sa pwersa ng pagtayo,)

Shey: forgive me aunt Bella, uncle Simon...

(naglakad pabalik si Shey sa kwarto nya.)

Anjo: come back here!

Shey: as if!!!

Episode 6: Eigh

(Nung unag sabado after mabuo ang bagong Paradox, pumunta sila sa bahay ni Shey para maipractice na ang kanta gamit ang isang bagong arrangement na inihandan para sa kanila lalo pa't ngayo'y may nadagdag sa grupo, pagkatpos ng polishing na inabot ng halos kalahating araw dumeretso na sila sa isang studio para mairecord na ang kanta gamit ang kanilang mga boses bilang mangaawit. Sa susunod na Sabado naman ihahanda na nila ang mga kakailanganin para full MV na ipapasa sa Christmas party nila.)

(Kinabukasan pag pasok nila sa school may ilang mga bus na nakaparada sa may parking lot nila, dilaw, berde, asul at maroon.)

Ghie: what are those???

(tanong ni Ghie habang papaupo sya sa sahig ng lobby sa tabi ni Cha at Arwin)

Arw: oh, haven't you heard?

Ghie: about what???

Arw: the Big 4's gonna check our facilities here, some joint project whatsoever.

Shey: I only saw Cha and Jop having their CAT training, I don't know about Eigh.

(sa may field naman ng school napansin ni Eigh ang ilang nyang schoolmates na paakyat na ng kanya-kanyang building kaya't naglakad na rin sya dala ang kanyang bag na nakasabit sa kaliwa nyang balikat at isang libro na yakap-yakap nya, napansin nya ang isang dahon na nakaipit sa pagitan ng mga pahina ng mga libro, kaya't kinuha nya ito, maya-maya'y nabangga sya sa isang lalaking nakasemi-formal, nalaglag ang hawak nyang libro.)

Wyatt: oh... sorry.

Eigh: sorry...

(lumuhod si Eigh para pulutin ang kanyang libro, ngunit mabilis itong napulot ng lalaki at naiabot kay Eigh.)

Eigh: thanks..

(tiningnan ni Eigh ang lalaki, may mahabang buhok na nakaipit sa likod may bigote at balbas sarado.)

Wyatt: oh... Wyatt...

(inextend ni Wyatt ang kanyang kamay)

Eigh: oh, Eigh...

(nagshake hands silang dalawa maya-maya pa'y bumitaw si Eigh.)

Wyatt: you go here???

Eigh: ep... I haven't seen you before,

Wyatt: oh the visiting agreement, I'm from Ateneo.

Eigh: oh really???

(tumingin si Eigh sa kanyang relo.)

Eigh: oh such a shame, but I have to go.

(tanong ni Wyat nang makalagpas si Eigh ng konti, lumingon naman si Eigh.)

(pag-akyat sa classroom, sumali si Eigh sa grupo nila Arwin wala pa kasi ang mga teacher sapagkat nagmemeeting sila kasama ang faculty ng mga bumisitang schools.)

Arw: so Eigh, we were just talking about our activity on Sunday,

Eigh: oh sorry...

Emily: I am not used to your straight hair anymore...

Eigh: ssssh!

(sabi ni Eigh kay Emily.)

Arw: so Eigh, may you ask your parents if you can stay over at Cha's crib this friday???

Eigh: oh why???

Arw: our first scene would be with the fog or mist or whatever around Cha's place.

Eigh: oh sure, I think they won't mind. So what do I have to bring???

(lumapit si Emily pabalik kina Arwin at pinaupo na ang mga ito. Bumalik sya kay Sanots at nakitang nakatingin ito kay Eigh.)

(bumalik ang tingin ni Santos sa kanya)

Kenneth: no one ma'am...

Emily: sure?

Kenneth: yes ma'am.

Emily: okay, I'm going out for a while, I'll be back in a bit.

(lumabas si Emily at naupo si Kenneth sa upuan sa teacher's table. Naupo naman si Eigh sa kanyang proper seat sa tabi ni Grace at Manel.)

(nanlaki ang mata ni Eigh.)

(nung Huwebes naman pagkauiw nila dumeretso si Shey sa bahay ni Eigh para tumulong sa pagpili ng damit na isusuot sa MV. Nahirapan si Shey sapagkat karamihan dito ay mga bistida, may isang skinny jean kaya pinili na kagad ito ni Shey, may isang pares ng high trim shoes si Eigh pinili rin ito ni Shey, ang iba naman ay ang mga kakaibang bistida ni Shey, at sabi ni Shey papahiramin nya nah lang si Eigh ng isang pares pa ng sapatos na pwedeng pangsayaw na hindi sya mahihirapan.)

Eigh: thanks Shey,

Shey: no problem, don't forget to brin all of that tomorrow huh.

Eigh: sure,

Shey: so I have to go,

Eigh: are you not having dinner here???

Shey: oh no thanks,
